Brendan has finished in 12th position at the inaugural Totoumi Hamamatsu event in Shizuoka Prefecture behind the eventual winner Masanori Kobayashi, his final round of 68 leaving him six shots behind the playoff between Kobayashi and Ryo Ishikawa. Brendan made a good start to his final round with four birdies before the turn and at that point was not without hope of a top three finish. The momentum slowed however with two birdies matched by two bogeys on the way in. Brendan's prizemoney of ￥2,020,000 saw him complete the week in second position on this season's Japan Golf Tour money list, his position at the top being taken by the recent winner of the Japan PGA Championship Hiroo Kawai. Brendan will now move north to Chiba just outside of Tokyo for the Diamond Cup event.             |
