For the second Sunday in a row, Brendan has finished a tournament well, putting together a final round of five under 67 to improve from his overnight 46th position to eventually finish inside the top 30 at the Bridgestone Open.

Following on from his final round of 70 at last week's Japan Open, it again highlighted the improvement Brendan has seen in his game since returning from the US. 

Seven birdies and two bogeys made up the round and while it might not have been the finishing position he was looking for at the start of the week, it was yet another encouraging sign as the big tournaments of November loom.

Brendan's next event is the ABC Championship near Osaka, an event he has won previously in 2002.
