Brendan has powered home with a final round of 66, the equal best of the day, to finish in a share of 10th at the Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheiyo Masters in Gotemba. Brendan's round improved him from 28th after 36 holes of the rain reduced event to race up the leaderboard. The tournament was won by the outstanding teenage amateur Hideki Matsumaya. Brendan will now head south to Miyazaki for this week's lucrative Dunlop Phoenix event before playing the World Cup with Richard Green next week in China.             |
