| Big move in round two by Brendan |
|
Several players are still to finish their rounds but Brendan had all but resigned himself to the possiblity of heading back home a couple of days earlier than he had planned prior to his late rally today, which included three birdies in his last four holes.
Today's effort was a stark contrast to round one yesterday where he went out of bounds on one occasion, incurred one penalty shot following a visit to a water hazard and struggled in the more difficult afternoon conditions.
"I went at every pin today and didn't care what happened, said Brendan after his round. "I'd changed my flights and checked out of the Hotel. I was looking forward to getting home tomorrow morning but it will have to be Monday now!!"
It is a nice problem to have as although there are plenty of players ahead of him the leaders have not gotten too far away and a continuation of this form over the weekend could see him making a significant move. |
