 Brendan and his playing partner in this year's World Cup of Golf, Richard Green, have made the near perfect start to the Mission Hills World Cup of Golf in Haikou on the island of Hainan. Brendan and Richard combined in the opening round of Fourball to lead the event by two shots over the Irish pair of Graeme McDowell and Rory McIlory and Scotland's Martin Laird and Stephen Gallagher. "We combined beautifully," said Brendan this afternoon. "I played well for most of the day today and then Richard chimed in beautifully towards the end."
