After a frustrating and at times worrying period on the USPGA Tour, Brendan is back in Japan for this week's Japan Open Golf Championship looking to restart his year after a enduring concerns surrounding a back complaint.

Since his first event back in the USA at the John Deere Classic there has been little to get excited about in Brendan's results since then in the events he has played on that Tour but his campaign was impacted by a debilitating back injury which is now on the improve.

The Japan Open is being played at the Kasumigaseki Country Club's West Course built in 1953 and regularly rated in the top ten courses in Japan.

Brendan has played the Japan Open on only two previous occasions his best when 4th behind Keiichiro Fukabori in 2003. 

Brendan has a 8.12 tee off time on day one.
