Brendan is in Takasaki City to the north and west of Tokyo for this week's Japan PGA Championship without having hit a golf ball since his final putt at the Crowns Tournament over a week ago. "I spent time with Kieran and Adele back in Canberra and today was the first time I have hit a shot since. It was a bit rusty early on yesterday in the practice 9 holes I played."

"This (the Raysum Golf Spa and Resort) is a new venue for us this week. It has large sloping greens and a lot of out of bounds so it will be interesting to see how it goes."

The Japan PGA Championship is a major on the Japan Golf Tour and, as a result, will include a full strength Japan Golf Tour field. Brendan has a late tee time on day one of the event.
