Brendan is in Ibaraki Prefecture just north of Tokyo for this week's Lexus Championship at the Otone Country Club in Bando-shi. This will be the second occasion Brendan has played the event. He finished 30th in 2008 but did not play in 2009. The event is being played earlier in the season than it has previously.

"It's hot up here," said Brendan referring to the increasing summer temperatures in the Tokyo region. "I played 9 holes today. The course is TOUGH!!! and it does not really fit my eye well as everything goes right to left but I'll suck it up and give it a good crack. My attitude is much better this week and am looking forward to competing again."

This will be Brendan's final event in this stretch before returning home to Canberra for a brief break.
