A final round of 65 has seen Brendan bounce back from the disappointment of his third round 78 at the Token Homemate Cup in Nagoya to finish in a share of 14th place in the season opening event on the Japan Golf Tour.
The horror third round of 78 was completed in demanding conditions where the slightly stronger wind blew from the opposite direction that it had all week and Brendan was not able to stop a shaky slide the started late in his front nine. Today it was a different story as he recorded seven birdies and just the one bogey to finish at two under.
Brendan had finished runner up in this event last year and while he will be disppointed that he was not able to macth that effort, he moves to the Tsuruya Open next week where he will be defending his 2006 title happy with the manner in which he finished the event off.
