A third round of 65 at the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup has Brendan on the verge of finishing his 2010 season off in style. The round has moved him to outright second in the limited field event and although he is three shots behind the leader Hiroyuki Fujita he is building momentum towards a big finish. With 40 million as the winner's prize this week, a win tomorrow would make a big difference to Brendan's final standing on the money list but first thing's first he will likely need another low round if he is to catch and pass the experienced Fujita. Brendan bogeyed his final hole today but had a much better day on the greens than he has had for a while and another similar day tomorrow might just be good enough. Brendan will play tomorrow's final round with Fujita and the four time winner this season Yuta Ikeda |
