Brendan has finished in what could be described as a disappointing share of 11th position at the Australian Open at Royal Sydney, an opportunity to win the event going begging over the final few holes.

Not that Brenadan was alone in that regard but when he stood on the 13th fairway at 7 under and then hit a beautiful driver off the deck onto the front of the green it appeared he would go to 8 under and into a position where he might challenge for  the title.

Unfortunately for Brendan he was not able to capitalise on his approach and took par then proceeded to drop a shot at the par three 14th and again at the last. It turned a genuine winning chance into an average week.

And so the end of another long year has come for Brendan. We will have the chance to talk with Brendan on his year and the plans for when he hopes to return after a lengthy break to competitive golf.
