Brendan has produced a stunning final round at the Canon Open near Yokohama, reeling off eight birdies, an eagle and two  bogies for a round of 64 to move from his overnight 32nd to a share of 6th.

Brendan's round included a hole in one at his 14th hole, the par three 5th, where an 8 iron found the bottom of the hole. "That tee shot flew straight in the hole and nearly demolished the cup," said Brendan not long after his round. "I guess you could say I had a day out."

"I had nothing to lose to today so was very aggressive with the putter and it paid off. I'm extremely happy. If you told me at the start of that day that I would shoot 8 under and finish inside the top ten I would not have believed it. I missed about an 8 footer at the last also."

Brendan moves to 13th on the Japan Golf Tour money list and now heads to next week's Japan Open in Fukuoka full of confidence in a game which earlier in the week he had struggled with.
