Brendan plays Mizuno Open |

After a two week break back in Canberra, Brendan returns to tournament golf this week when he plays the Gateway to the Open Mizuno Open, so named because of the opportunity it provides for the leading four qualifiers to play the Open Championship at Royal St Georges next month.
It is a tournament which Brendan has won previously and importantly for his chances this week is that it is back at the same venue on which he won, the Setonaiki Golf Club in Okayama.
There are also two positions available at this year's Open to the leading two players on the Japan Tour money list up to and including this week's event. Brendan is currently in third position on that list and just 1 million yen or A$12,000 behind the second placed player so he could potentially fit two qualifying criteria although with the much anticipated arrival of he and Adele's second child at about the time he is not planning on taking advantage of that start should it come his way
