Brendan is in Shenzhen in southern China for this week's Omega Mission Hills World Cup of Golf where he and Richard Green will fly the Australian flag. "This is a special week for me being able to represent Australia. I was able to it as an amateur and to be able to do it in an event of this significance at a professional level is very exciting."
"I had a practice round today. It's a long way around the course though with long cart rides from greens to tees. Course is pretty good although the greens are quite grainy. I haven't played much on grainy greens but hoping between us we'll do ok."
The Australian pair will combine in the opening round Fourball matches on Thursday where they will play with the Portugese team of Tiago Cruz and Ricardo Santos.
Brendan will return to Japan following this event for the final event of the season there, the Golf Nippon Series before heading home for the Australian Open.
