Around half of the field are still to complete their second rounds but with 78 players at two under or better, things are looking rather ominous for Brendan unless there is some help from the elements tomorrow.
After an opening round of 69 in the morning, Brendan was soon back out on the course but a double bogey start to round two had him on the back foot early and fighting throughout his round to get to and below the cut mark. His second to the first hole in the afternoon found the left hand greenside trap and he took two to get out.
Brendan still had a chance of ensuring he would make the cut with a strong back nine but in the end he was lucky to make pars at his 17th and 18th holes.
Brendan will not know until early tomorrow if he has made it to the final thirty six holes.

Brendan faces a long overnight wait to see if his two round total of 139 - or one under par - will be good enough to make the weekend at the US Bank Championship.
