Brendan was out late on day two as the leader in the tournament but by the time he got to the golf course he had been passed by the briilliant Korean 20 year old, Dong-Hwan Lee who was in the process of constructing his second consecutive 68 and led at eight under as Brendan started out.
Brendan opened with a bogey but regained that shot at the next when he birdied the par four. He surprisingly dropped a shot at his 7th hole of the day, the reachable par five 16th, and dropped another late in his round.
Brendan trails by just three and is well placed to continue his good form this season over the final 36 holes. |

Brendan has finished with a second round of 74 at the Gateway to the Open Mizuno Open Yomiuri Classic and despite his somewhat disappointing effort on day two he is still very much in the thick of things leading into tomorrow's third round.
