Brendan had not long finished his Tuesday practice round at Oakland Hills for this week's PGA Championship when he had a chance to discuss his thoughts about the course and his current form.

"I have just finished my first practice round now and am completely exhausted. The greens are heavily contoured and there are a few fairways that will be near impossible to hit. The greens are really quite soft which has surprised me a little given that is a major championship."

"I am really quite happy with my form. I felt I played a lot better than my tie for 36th last week suggests. I played a little more aggressively on Sunday and just missed a few greens. The greens were very soft as they are most weeks on the PGA Tour and I just kept spinning them off greens."

"Hopefully I have one good week in me before I have a month off."

Brendan has 1.10 tee time on day one when he will play with Frederik Jacobson and Tommy Armour 111
