A disappointing front nine on day one got Brendan's tournament off to a poor start and he was behind the eight ball from there. Two late birdies in his final round of 70 at least provided a little encouragement as he heads for the break but it has been an average couple of weeks in Japan on this trip.
Brendan will return to Japan for the last four events of the season with an improvement on his current 7th placed position on the money list in mind. He slipped one place this week.

Brendan has finished 32nd at the Bridgestone Open and is on his way back to Canberra for a two week break before the Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheiyo Masters, an event that he won two years ago.
