Although not totally happy with his ball striking at present, Brendan talked this evening about the work he has been doing since missing the cut at last week's Diamond Cup and will do between now and the start of this week's Japan Tour Championsip Citibank Cup at Shishido Hills in Ibaraki Prefecture. "My game has been a bit off this trip more especially my ball striking although today it seemed to improve towards the end of the Pro Am," said Brendan from his hotel on Tuesday evening. "I will put a big day in tomorrow (Wednesday) and hopefully we can have it sorted out by Thursday." Brendan has played the demanding Shishido Hills layout well in the past and although he has yet to win the event he has had several near misses - the last of which came when runner-up in 2008. Being a major event on the Japan Golf Tour and carrrying the equal biggest prizemoney to date this season, it is an event Brendan would dearly love to do well in before heading back to Canberra for a lengthy break. |
