His lumber region might not quite be right at present but it might just be the 84 Lumber Classic that will see Brendan return to tournament golf.

After an agonising few weeks wondering about his capacity to play further events in 2006, Brendan will remain in the US in the hope that his ailing back will allow him to play at next week's Lumber Classic in Farmington Pennsylvania.

Brendan has not played an event since the Buick Open in early August and was forced to withdraw prior to the International later that month. The back problem that has plagued him for some time has had him on the verge of returning to Canberra to seek advice from specialists there but he has decided to enter and hopefully play next week.
