Brendan has recovered from a slow start to his 2010 Japan Golf tour season and indeed a slow start to his second round of the Token Homemate Cup with a round of 70 and at 3 over he has comfortably made the cut.
An opening round of 75 yesterday in which he was three over through 4 holes and 5 over through 16 had him with some work to do today but despite again being out in the worst of the conditions he rallied back from another shaky start to ensure he was around for the weekend.
Brendan is now only six shots from the lead held by two recent winners of the event, Yui Ueda and Katsumasa Miyamoto.
"I played ok today," said Brendan from his hotel this evening. "Our side of the draw did not get great conditions but I am happy to be a round for the weekend and the field is very bunched. It has been quite cold up here these first couple of days."
