Brendan finished runner up to Brisbane's Wayne Perske in this event twelve months ago and has positioned himself for a similar performance this weekend. After an early bogey at his second hole today, Brendan was quickly into stride and when he had finished his round he was within four shots of the then leader, Yui Ueda, as the afternoon field settled into their rounds. Ueda tied for second with Brendan last year in this event.             |
Brendan has added a second round of 68 to his opening round of 71 at
the opening golf event of 2007 on the Japan Golf Tour and finds himself
well placed as he heads into the weekend at the Token Homeate Cup near
Nagoya.
