Brendan is well placed at the halfway point of the Mitsubishi Diamond Cup at the Oarai Golf Club in Mita in Ibaraki Prefecture.
In high winds and on an already tough and demanding layout, Brendan added a second round of two over par 74 but such were the conditions it was good enough for Brendan to improve 40 positions from his opening round of 73.
Brendan is four shots behind the only player to break par for the opening 36 holes, Chawalit Plaphol of Thailand.
"I'm pretty happy," said Brendan today. "My game felt great in the pro-am but although it has not felt as good since I am happy with my position heading into the weekend."             |
