Brendan improves to safely make the weekend |

Brendan has safely made the cut at the opening event of the 2011 Japan Golf Tour season. Rounds of 72 and 69 at the Token Homemate Cup near Nagoya have him in 30th position at 1 under and eight shots behind the lead of Shingo Katayama.
With the cut score looking to be around the 1 over mark when Brendan started his second round in the afternoon field on day two, it was clear he would need a solid round to be around for the weekend. He started slowly but an eagle at the par five 17th hole (his 8th of the day) had him on track.
