The tournament is being held for the first time at a new venue, the Hananomori Golf Club after being held for many years at the Omotezao Kokusai Golf Club. Brendan has played the tournament on three previous occasions and been inside the top twenty on each but has yet to record a top ten. This is however a new venue in 2007.
Brendan is currently third on the Japan Golf Tour money list after five events in which he has finished no worse than 14th in any.
"The course seems pretty good," said Brendan on Tuesday afternoon. "There appear to be a lot of birdie holes so the scoring should be a lot lower than has been the case in the past two weeks."
This will be the last of four events in this stretch for Brendan although one he was unable to play due to ilness. He will head home to Canberra after this event
Brendan has a 12.05 tee time on day one. |
