Brendan is well enough placed at the halfway point of the inaugural Totoumi Hamamatsu Open in Shizuoka Japan, adding a second round of 69 to his opening 67 and at 8 under he trails the leaders by three.
"I wasn't really happy with the way I played," said Brendan soon after his round. "I chipped and putted poorly. I made a nice eagle at my 13th hole when I hit a 7 iron to 1 foot but that was the highlight really. I have to try and eliminate my mistakes. Two silly three putts were costly but I am close enough I guess."
Brendan will play with Ryo Ishikawa and Australian rookie Neil Sarkies in tomorrow's third round.
