At four over for the tournament Brendan finds himself in a share of 49th place and ten shots out of the lead currently held by Shingo Katayama.
A poor finish to round one had seen Brendan needing a good second round to make the cut and with an afternoon tee time in round two he had his work cut out to do so.
Importantly, by making the cut, Brendan now has the opportunity to build some momentum over the weekend to carry him into the weeks ahead. After a series of events where he has been unable to do just that he will enjoy the chance ot play four consecutive rounds.             |
A late birdie in his second round has seen Brendan through to the weekend at the Japan Open Golf Championship, making the cut with one shot to spare.
