Brendan is keen to improve his putting this week. "It has been my putting that has held me back from an even better season. I have been experimenting with my posture and stance to see if it that might help. It has felt alright in the past couple of days."
"This
is a golf course that I feel I should have played perhaps better on
than I have as in many ways it sets up well for me. I have had a couple
of top twenties but hopefully I can improve on that this week." |

As Brendan prepared for this week's Mitsui Sumitomo
Visa Taiheiyo tournament in Shizuoka Prefecture on the lower slopes of
Mt Fuji, he expressed a little concern regarding a cold he had caught
just prior to leaving Canberra. "I think I picked it up on the last
night before I left to come up here and it has gotten worse so
hopefully it will not get too bad," said Brendan as he looked
out of his hotel room on Wednesday morning. "I am not playing the pro
am today so will take it easy and hopefully it will be ok."
