Brendan left for Florida this morning en route to the WGC -CA Championship at the Doral Resort and Spa in Florida. Brendan earned a start in the US$8 million event courtesy of his brilliant season on the Japan Golf Tour money list in 2007 where he finished third on the money list.

"I played the Sydney Meriton Invitational this week as part of my preparation and worked on a few things and feel my game is pretty close," said Brendan. "I had my C game when I went to Sydney but by the end of the week it was starting to feel pretty good. I'll have a couple of strong practice sessions this week and hopefully be ready to go ok this week in Florida."

Brendan finished in a share of 6th at the Sydney pro am event which came at a good time in his preparation for the big week ahead especially given that Brendan was unable to secure an invite to the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando this week. Brendan has played the Doral course on one previous occasion that when he made the cut in the Ford Championship in 2005.
