"The course is long, pretty good though with small greens, hardly any fairways it seems and long rough as you would expect at a Japan Open," said Brendan after his first look at the Musashi Golf Club's Toyooka layout. "The weather has been perfect so far and hopefully will be for the remainder of the week."
Brendan has played the Japan Open on several occasions and has a best finish of third behind Shingo Katayama and Ryo Ishikawa last year.
Brendan will play this week's event then next week at the Bridgestone, have a two week break at home then play the final four events of the season.

Brendan is quite happy with what he has seen to date at this week's Japan Open course in Saitama to the north and west of Tokyo City and is looking forward to a good week.
