Brendan is in Chiba Prefecture near Tokyo for this week's Bridgestone Open after what was a disappoinitng week last week at the Japan Open.

"I was pleased with the way I played in the last round especially considering I had an early triple bogey but overall it was an ordinary week," said Brendan from the venue for this week's event. Having said that I was able to take something from the final day and am feeling good about this week."

"I have played this week's event on several occasions and while I have had one top ten, I think, and generally played ok I feel that I should have had more success here as the course suits me. Hopefullly after getting my first event in a month behind me last week things will get better this week."

Brendan has his family with him again this week and has been joined by his parents who are in Japan for the first time.

The tournament is being played at the Sodegaura Country Club where it has been staged since first played in 1985.
