Brendan has produced a second round of 67 at the Bridgestone Open in Chiba today, moving from 68th after his opening round of 73 to now share 22nd at the halfway stage. "It coudn't have been much worse than it was yesterday," said Brendan this evening. "I feel a lot happier now that's for sure," he added referring to a second round that included five birdies and an eagle. "I played the par fives well," said Brendan of his five under par total on the four par fives. At the 9th hole he recorded an eagle when holing out from 15 feet after his five iron from 248 yards found the green in the strong helping wind. Brendan is six shots behind the leader and Japan Tour rookie, Jae Bum-Park. |
