Brendan has made a good move on day two of the Vana H KBC Augusta tournament in Fukuoka in southern Japan. A second round of 66 has him no closer to the lead in terms of the amount of shots he is behind the pace but he has improved from 29th to 9th on the leaderboard and is seven shots behind the 25 year old Korean Bae Sang-moon.
Brendan appeared to be on his way to something very special today when he birdied seven of his first 13 holes but dropped shots late in his round slowed things before a birdie at the last has him well enough placed for further improvement over the weekend.
Given the little amount of golf he has played in the last seven weeks Brendan was happy enough with his effort. "It is a low scoring golf course. It could have been better today as the dropped shots late in the round would indicate but I'm happy enough all things considered."
