Despite not feeling the best this week, Brendan has done well to make the cut and then add an impressive third round of 68 at the ANA Open in Hokkaido. At the completion of 54 holes he finds himself in a share of 18th position at 5 under but seven behind the leaders Kurt Barnes and 16 year old amateur star Masamitchi Ito.
"I've had a cold since I left home," said Brendan not long after round three. "I have felt terrible all week & with things at home the way they are it's a miracle I even made the cut. Have played really well from tee to green all week but have not putted well. Overall however and given the circumstances I am happy."
Brendan will play one hour before the final group tomorrow and is realistically looking to finish the event off well before he defends his Asia Pacific Panasonic Open title next week.
