Brendan has played this event well on occasions without ever threatening to win. After a slow start to the tournament the last time the event was played at this venue two years ago, Brendan finished strongly over the weekend to finish 11th.
Brendan had rounds of 73 and 72 on Monday at the Japan Tour's qualifying for the US Open and missed out by six shots on getting a place in the tournament.             |
After missing out on a spot at the US Open in final qualifying on Monday, Brendan is in Ibaraki Prefecture to the north and east of Tokyo for this week's Mitsubishi Diamond Cup event at the Oarari Golf Club.
