| Brendan misses narrowly at PGA |
|
Brendan was out early on day two after his afternoon round of 71 on day one and started solidly enough with three straight pars but consecutive double bogies at the 4th and 5th holes set him on a downward spiral that, try as he may, he was unable to halt.
"I felt I played well enough to do well but made too many simple mistakes," said Brendan from Los Angeles airport on his way home. "My putting is still terrible and is something to work on."
For Brendan it is now back to Canberra for a break of six weeks or so before his next event in Japan. It ends a lengthy stint on the road and if there is anything positive for him in missing the cut it is that he will be able to head home to the famliy for a well earned rest.
Brendan's next tournament will be the Asia Pacific Panasonic Open starting on September 25th. |
