"I'm going to miss the family," said Brendan from the tournament venue, the Fujizakura Golf Club near Mt Fuji south of Tokyo, "but I might get some sleep," he added tongue in cheek. "It's certainly a lot harder now to leave Australia with Kieran now part of our lives."
"I played this golf course today and this is the first time I have played this venue for this event. I have to say it is one of the best I have ever played up here and the condition is excellent. I was a little rusty today so hopefully by Thursday things will improve."
Brendan has late tee time on day one when he will play at 12.45.             |
Brendan is back in Japan after six weeks back home in Australia where he and his wife Adele experienced the arrival of their first child, Kieran.
