Brendan is in Shanghai this week where he has gained a start at the World Golf Championship HSBC Champions event at the Sheshan Golf Club.

Brendan gains a start as a result of his recent victory at the Panasonic Open and played the golf course for the first time yesterday. "I have not played here before but played it yesterday and felt quite comfortable on the layout," said Brendan on Wednesday morning.

The tournament is worth a massive US$7 million and in tomorrow's opening round Brendan will play at 10.50 with China's Wu Kang Chun and England's David Horsey.
