Brendan is in Narita near Tokyo's main airport this week for the Suntory Open, an event which is being played for the final occasion after a long history on the Japan Golf Tour.

Brendan has played the tournament on several occasions but has not had a particularly good record at the Sobu Country Club course. Of more concern to Brendan and the rest of the field however is the likely arrival of a typhoon on the afternoon of the opening round. Whether that is of assistance or otherwise to Brendan remains to be seen but with an early tee time on day one he may well avoid any impact on his score.

Brendan was feeling a little tired earlier in the week and the intense heat in the Tokyo region at present has not helped but he is now ready to go when the tournament gets underway on Thursday.
