Brendan has moved into a three shot lead at the Tsuruya Open after a third round of three under par 68 left him three ahead of Takuya Taniguchi. Veteran Massie Kuramoto is in third place, four shots behind Brendan.
Brendan is looking for his third consecutive win in this event and at this venue having won last year and in 2004. He did not play in 2005 as he was playing then on the USA PGA Tour.
Brendan bogeyed his final hole today but had eagled the 17th to establish a significant lead.
