Brendan is back in Japan preparing for a hectic finish to the season. Beginning this week at the Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheiyo Masters, Brendan will play four weeks in succession, one of those weeks involving the World Cup of Golf where he will join forces with Richard Green to represent Australian. This week's Visa Taiheiyo will be followed by the Dunlop Phoenix, The World Cup of Golf and the Golf Nippon Series before a one week break back home in Canberra and he will finish off the season with the J.B. Were Masters in Melbourne. With two boys at home including the new arrival, Curtis, Brendan has not been able to get out and practice as much as he would like but is feeling good about what lies ahead. Brendan won the Visa Taiheiyo four years ago during his best season in Japan, holing a huge putt across the last green for and eagle to edge out the then Japanese star Toru Taniguchi by one shot with Adam Scott in third position. Brendan also finished runner-up in the event to Ryo Ishikawa in 2010. photo; Brendan could not hide his glee when holing a massive putt to win the 2007 Visa Taiheiyo |
