Three years ago Brendan finished runner up at both the Jacobs Creek Open and the New Zealand PGA Championship and so is pleased to be able to play the events again.
"I have been pleased with the way I am hitting the ball of late," said Brendan who has played on a regular basis at his club, Royal Canberra, over the past few weeks. "My ball striking has been very good and and am feeling good about the way I am swinging it."
"I have had a good break and am keen to get back into it. I am also feeling fit and the back issues that plagued me last year do not seem to be an concern now."
Brendan has also decided to use the Belly Putter in early events. "I have used it a couple ot times previously in tournaments but I have been putting well with it of late and will try it this season."
Brendan will play the next two weeks and then in March will play the Sydney Invitational Pro Am before he heads to Japan where his first event will be the Token Homemate Cup beginning on April 12th. |

Brendan will play the two events co sanctioned with the Nationwide Tour in Adelaide and Christchurch over the next two weeks. Brendan was granted a start by the Australasian PGA Tour despite not having full status on that Tour. He was included under category 6 which provides the opportunity for players such as Brendan, who have full status on a tour sanctioned by the International Federation, to be granted starts at the PGA Tour's discretion.
