Brendan is back home in Canberra this week after his Japan Golf Tour Championship hopes were dashed by a six over par 9 at his 7th hole in round two. Brendan appeared to be fighting back after a poor start to the tournament when he had opened with a round of 75. Two early birdies on day two and his hopes were still alive. Then came the disaster at the 7th when he put three balls in the water. Brendan has stuggled to get back into the swing of things following his recent Crowns Tournament victory but a couple of weeks off back in Canberra will hopefully inspire him to return fresh and ready to go at the Gateway to the Open Mizuno Open in Okayama beginning on June 23rd. Brendan has won the Mizuno Open previously (2004) and in his favour is that the event is being played once again at the venue on which he won. |
