After being required to finish eight holes of his opening round at the Tsuruya Open on Friday morning, Brendan recorded an round of 68 and then headed back out in round two and finished with 69 to be at five under. Although he is seven shots from the 36 hole leader, Hiroshi Iwata, Brendan is only two shots behind third place.

Brendan made a shaky start to his second round dropping three shots early but recovered over the closing nine recording a 32 on his way in and had moved back into contention.

With a delay again on day two Brendan was forced to wait until Saturday morning to establish just where he stood heading into the third round but he had at least given himself a chance with his big finish of contending over the weekend.
