Brendan is back in Japan for this week's japan Open near Yokohama and for the first time, he his wife Adele and newborn son Kieran are travelling together. "He was great coming up here, hardly a murmur out of him on the plane," said Brendan on the eve of the tournament. "I have had a good few weeks at home and did very little for the first two weeks and then worked on my game last week before leaving on Sunday. I have though only played two games of golf in the time I was home."

"This is a big week for us as not only are Adele and Kieran here but for the first time my parents are joining us in Japan," added Brendan.

"The golf course here at the Sagamihara Golf Club has been set up in typical Japan Open fashion with long rough, tight fairways and firm greens. I played the pro-am today and although I was a little rusty early on things improved over the back nine."

"This will be the first of three events I play before returning home for one week then returning to play the last four events of the season up here."

"I have also made the decision not to return to the USPGA Tour School despite the fact that I am exempt through to the final stage and will now focus on Japan in the immediate future."  

Brendan has a 7.27 tee time on day one.
