Brendan is back in Japan for this week's Canon Open near Yokohama afer an extra week at home to get over a viral complaint he picked up just prior to leaving for last week's Toaki Classic.
Speaking from his hotel this evening Brendan indicated that while he has recovered from his virus he has picked up a sore throat and is hoping that he can fend off a cold. "It is very wet here this week which is not good and they are expecting a typhoon to hit tomorrow. Whether we will get to play the first round remains to be seen but it is not looking good at this stage."
"My game feels ok but we shall just have to wait and see how it all comes together as it has been more than a month since I last played an event."
Brendan, who is currently 6th on the Japan Golf Tour money list, finished 6th in this event last year after a stunning final round of 64, a round in which he played his final nine holes in 30.
