Brendan has returned to Japan for this week's Sega Sammy Cup at the North Country Club near Sapporo in the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido.

The tournament is the first of two consecutive events in Hokkaido as next week the Sun Chlorella tournament is to be played at the Otaru Country Club just a little further north.

A week back home in the cold of Canberra has not provided much opportunity for Brendan to work on his game but he feels by Thursday he will have things in shape for the event he has played on only two previous occasions.

Brendan's last three week visit to Japan was one of his worst ever in terms of success and he is keen to get the second half of the year underway with a sharp improvement in form.
