The highlight for Brendan was when winning the Vikings Capital Pro Am at the Capital Golf Club with an eight under par round of 61 but he also played well at the Bakers Delight event at Gold Creek finishing runner up behind Neven Basic with a round of 67.
"I played three of the pro-ams." said Brendan today. "I was a bit rusty at Belconnen but was really happy with the way I played at Capital and Gold Creek. I have been doing very little golf-wise other than a Wednesday round since New Year but am very happy with the way I have been striking the ball nonetheless."
"My intention is to keep the preparation limited until the Sydney Invitational and then get back into it in a big way before heading back to Japan on April 10th."
Brendan will play next at the Meriton Sydney Invitational starting on March 23 before he heads to Japan for the opening event of the season there, the Token Homemate Cup which begins in Nagoya on April 15th. |

Although still a month away from his first start on the Japan Golf Tour for 2010, Brendan has eased his way back into tournament golf this past week by playing several pro am events near his home in Canberra.
