"I felt I played great all week but I made a few errors in clubs yesterday, said Brendan after his round today. "Today my pace on the putting greens was out. Tee to green it was excellent however and I am happy with the week and looking forward to the Open Championship."
Brendan was of course referring to the fact that his next event will be the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale starting on July 24th. He leaves Japan for Southport in Lancashire on Wednesday.
A fast start today, when Brendan birdied two of his first four holes, gave him some hope of catching the leader and eventual winner Hoshino but he was unable to come to terms with the greens over the closing nine holes and his chance was gone.
Brendan's finish today earned him ¥12,600,000 and moved him back inside the top ten on the money list with ¥30,500,000.
