"I couldn't hit balls today," he said on the eve of the tournament at the Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club. "I have spent quite a bit of time in the fitness trailer all week and have had steroid injections to help relieve the pain. I have next week off so when I am back in Dallas I will seek specialist help. It has been assessed already as an issue with my lower back in the L4 and L5 area and so I need to get it pinpointed and worked out as to what I can do to get it sorted out."
Brendan played here in his rookie season in 2005 and had a solid week finishing 39th.
Brendan has an 8.30 am tee time on day one when he will partner Roger Tambellini and the Canadian Jon Mills.
